WORKERS IN MINES COAL FOR AUSTRALIA ASSURANCE BY UNIONS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Feb. 28, 1.40 n.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 28. The general northern presidents of the Miners’ Federation stated that Australia may count on a 100 per cent production of coal while the present grave war situation continued. “The public can be confident that r.o stoppages will occur in the coal industry from now on, except as a result of unendurably harassing tactics by short-sighted employers,” stated the union leaders.
