AIR SUPERIORITY
PLANES OF ALLIES ITAUAN REVERSES TOLL ON GREEK FRONT (Recd.fl Feb. 28, noon.) LONDON,. Feb. 27. A night communique issued in Athens states that intense artillery activity was experienced on various parts of the Albanian front. Two enemy aircraft were shot down and two damaged by anti-aircraft fire. The Greek Ministry states that since February 10 the Royal Air Force and the Greek Air Force have shot down 41 Italian planes in Albania. The Allied superiority in the air is daily more evident. . A Royal Air Force Middle East communique states:' “In Albania during operations by the Royal Air Force in support oi the Greek Army highlysuccessful attacks were made on the Albanian villages of Luzati and Fieri. At Luzati, south of Tepeleni, direct hits were registered on a concentration of motor vehicles near the village, while at Fieri several large fires were seen to break out as a result of bombing. “British aircraft subsequently ma-chine-gunned military headquarters and other targets. A convoy of cargo ships and a gun-boat were attacked two miles off Valona.”
