Captain A. Murray Scott, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Newman, “Fairfield,” Waipaoa, left for Dunedin yesterday. The decision of Mr. D. H. Withers riot to seek re-election again as secretary of the Wairoa branch of the Farmers’ Union was received with regret at a meeting of the executive yesterday.—Special.
