Elderly Man Gaoled
Charged with behaving in a disorderly manner while drunk at Mohaka and with using obscene language, James Henry Scott, aged 72, pleaded not guilty to both charges before Mr. J. Miller, S.M., in the Wairoa Magistrate's Court. On the first charge he was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months, and on the second he was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment. Sergeant L. T. Moore conducted the case for the police.— Special.
