After 42J years’ service in the diocese of Wellington, the Rev. Canon J. H. Sykes, vicar of Greytown, has announced his resignation. Mr. Henry Foley, who has been attached to the staff of the Wellington office of the Commercial Bank of Australia for the past 18 years, and who latterly has occupied the position of assistant to the accountant, has been appointed manager of the bank’s Hastings branch.
