EWE FAIR VALUES
LATE PRICES UNCHANGED Values during the afternoon’s selling of the small pens at the Matawhero Ewe Fair yesterday remained unchanged from those which ruled during the morning. Values were much on a par with those ruling at last week's fair. Yesterday’s fair was the fourth of the season. Prices for the top pens in each of the age groups at yesterday’s fair are given below in comparison with last week’s top prices and those for the first fair of the season: —
--An exceptional line. The next highest price was 265. No outside buyers were present yesterday, but local agents purchased lines that were destined for outside districts. At the first four fairs of the season more than 80,000 ewes have been offered. The final fair will be held next Tuesday.
