INCENDIARIST GAOLED
LOST MORAL VALUES NEED FOR OBSERVATION (Reed. Feb. 25, 2.40 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 24. A 1 fire-watcher, George Edward Young, who on January 20 was committed for trial on a charge of attempting to set fire to the British Broadcasting Corporation’s Bristol premises, where damage estimated at over £ISOO was caused, was to-day sentenced to gaol for nine months. Counsel for the defence produced a medical report which said that Young apparently lost his sense of moral values and developed a dream personality which he felt he must follow. The judge gave the opinion that the case was more medical than criminal, but it was necessary that Young should be under observation.
