BOY TRAPPED POLICEMAN
A boy who found a £1 note in the street handed it in to Police-Sergeant Philip Jent at a London suburban police station. A month later Jent told him the note had been claimed. The boy made inquiries. The note had not been claimed. Later Jent was sentenced to four months for stealing thp note. He asked for three other similar cases to be taken into consideration.
