AMATEUR SWIMMING

TO-MORROW’S CARNIVAL HANDICAPS DECLARED The second swimming carnival ot the season will be conducted by the Gisborne Amateur Surl' and Swimming Club in the Macrae Baths to-morrow evening. Entries for all events are excellent and as there are several championship races competitors will be doing their utmost to break records. There will be two relay races, and the first for the Club Stars and the other the annual 133 l-3yd. Mercantile Relay for the Hautanoa Cup, the holders of which are the P. and T. Department’s No. 2 team.
