MAY ATTACK BURMA
PASSAGE OF SIAM BELIEF IN BANGKOK N FRENCH PRECAUTIONS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Feb. 25, 1.50 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 24. A Bangkok message states that the Japanese naval activities in the Gulf of Siam are under careful observation. Meanwhile the belief is growing that the Japanese will attack Burma across Thailand. A Paris message states that 'he French radio to-day announced that the authorities in Indo-China had cancelled all army leave. The French Far Eastern fleet is reported to be cru'.'ing in the Gulf of Siam.
The American Minister at Bangkok has advised American women r.nd children and also men who are not in essential occupations to leave Thailand. ■- ■■ ■
