Fracture of the Skull
A fracture of the skull was suffered by a young man, Mr. Sherlock Simms, in Palmerston North, when the locking ring of a motor-truck wheel sprang off under the pressure of an inflated tyre. Mr. Simms was in the act of changing the wheel. He was taken to hospital, and his condition is serious.
