Maori Meeting Houses
It is hoped shortly to commence the erection of two more centennial Maori meeting-houses in the Rotorua district, Tamatekapua at Ohinemutu and Wakaheimqa at Awahou. The reconstruction of both of these meet-ing-houses has been approved as part of the centennial programme and a subsidy of £1 for each £3 will be payable from the centennial funds.
