NOTICE TO ers Perriiission has been granted by the Price Tribunal to increase the prices of all types of electric ranges and water heaters on and after October 24. The new selling price will be calculated on the following basis:— Ranges and water heaters will be sold at the actual cost of the appliances to the Board, together with the cost of wiring as charged by the contractor, plus 5% of these two amounts. Present additional charges for installations outside the Gisborne borough boundary and installations on terms will remain unchanged. INTENDING PURCHASERS SHOULD ORDER NOWIntending purchasers may purchase electric ranges and waterheaters, for cash or on terms, at existing rates, at any time within a period of three months after the date of the price increase, if they notify the Board of their requirements before October 24.
