FIGHTING IN NORWAY

ALLIES MOPPING UP RAILWAY FROM NARVIK (Reed. May 31, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, May 30. The Norwegian High Command states that the Allies are mopping up along the railway from Narvik and south of Narvik.

In the Narvik area on Monday and Tuesday 13 enemy aircraft were destroyed by British fighters. British planes nightly raid Germany’s Norwegian aerodromes. No raid alarms are sounded, and the Germans explain the raids as "explosions outside the town.”
