STAYING IN COUNTRY MORE TROOPS CALLED UP (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Consul for Belgium, M. Armand Nihotte, has received tabled advice that the Belgian Government is still in Belgium, where the Prime Minister, M. Pierlot, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, M. Spaak, and the Minister of National Defence, Lieutenant-General K. Denis, are remaining for the present in close' contact with King Leopold and his army. The Belgian Government is calling up all men between the ages of 17 and 37 who are not already serving, so as to bring the effectiveness of the front-line forces to a strength of 1,000,000.
