Funny thing, human nature! As a rule the chap that doesn’t drink insists that nobody else should drink; the non-theatre goer disapproves of anyone else going to the theatre; the party that doesn't read novels or play cards objects to anyone else reading novels or playing cards; while the man that hates tobacco indignantly demands that everyone else should hate tobacco. And yet these "bad habits" persist! As for smoking, it's the only pleasure that multitudes or people have. A very harmless pleasure, surely! When smoking proves injurious it's because there’s too much nicotine in the tobacco.
