ITALY’S HIGHEST AWARD CIANO TOURS ALBANIA (Reed. May 23, 3 p.m.) ROME, May 22. .King Victor Emmanuel of Italy has conferred on Field-Marshal Goering Italy’s highest decoration, the Supreme Order of Annunciation, to mark the first anniversary of the Italian-German military alliance. The Italian Ambassador to Germany paid a flying visit to FieldMarshal Goering’s headquarters in Western Germany and handed over the insignia. The Italian Foreign Minister, Count Ciano, is touring the industrial centres of Albania. He visited the harbour works at Durazzo after which he visited Tirana. A report from Djibuti, French Somaliland, states that the British Consul has advised Britons to evacuate Djibuti. Most of the residents have embarked.
