HECTIC FINAL NIGHT
RETURN FROM LEAVE VICTORIAN TROOPS (Reed. March 29, 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE, March 28. After a hectic final night on leave the Victorian section of the Second Australian Imperial Force returned to Puckapunyal during the night. All trains from Melbourne were late and one did not arrive at all. Many men returned to camp by car and two soldiers, in order to get to the camp, hired a 30-scater motor coach at Melbourne.
