CHAMPION SINGLES
BOWLING CENTRE TITLES GISBORNE GREEN PLAY DRAW FOR TO-MORROW Players to represent their clubs and the draw for the Gisborne-East Coast Bowling Centre’s annual champion of champion singles for seniors, intermediates, and juniors have been announced by the secretary of the centre. Mr. D. G. Robertson. The matches will start at 9.15 a.m to-morrow on the Gisborne Club’s green, but players are requested to be in attendance at 9 a.m. The intermediate classification is for competition between leads and twos, and juniors for players who are in their first or second year at the game. Noted in the nominations is the name of S. McKenzie (Poverty Bay), who has to his credit this season wins in the pairs and fours championships If he is successful in securing further honours he will be the first player to have carried off the treble since the start of the competition.
