The final acceptors for the St. Leger Stakes are as follow: Macrob, High Caste, Reading. The 17 acceptors for the Centenary Cup include Plymouth Hoe, Round Up, Pageant, Seven Fifty, Tomita, Elanage, and Valmiki. Pure Gold worked freely to-day and showed no signs of lameness as a result of yesterday’s accident. As a result of drawing a favourable barrier position, Graceful Mover is now regarded as a sure runner in the Newmarket Handicap. T. Webster has been engaged to ride Pamelas and O. Phillips Hilton in the Newmarket Handicap. In a pleasing trial for the Sires’ Produce Stakes at Mentone to-day, Allveil ran four furlongs in 49Jsec„ beating Stagelaw and Warbird.
