Greyhound Trials
Greyhound trials will be held on the Victoria Domain this evening. Gisborncites’ Escape The news published in Saturday’s Herald of a miraculous escape by Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Gordon, in the Tahuna motor camping ground, Nelson, on Saturday morning, was of particular interest to Gisborne people, Mr. Gordon is a son of Mr. Charles Gordon, Herbert road. Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Gordon were reaching the close of a camping holiday when a falling tree smashed the tent in which they had been sleeping only a few moments be-1 fore.
