UNREGISTERED PISTOL
“The possession of an unregistered automatic pistol is a very serious offence, and what makes this case more serious is that the pistol was loaded when found by the police,” said Mr. Raymond Ferner, S.M.. in the Maungaturoto Court, Whangarei. George Govoroko had pleaded guilty to a charge of having in his possession an unregistered, automatic pistol and 60 rounds of ammunition. He was fined £5 and costs.
