HE LIVES FOR VICTORY
Sir -Bindon Blodd, “Father of the British Army,” who was 97 on November 7, is determined to live long enough to see Britain victorious. “He takes a keen interest in, the progress of the war,” Lady Blood told the Sunday Chronicle. “Although lie is now a semi-invalid, he is able to sit up in his armchair for a few hours each afternoon and have the war news read to him.”
