ONLY THREE HITS
BRITISH NAVAL CRAFT GERMAN AIR RAIDS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2.50 p.m. RUGBY, .Tan, 9. It was revealed in London to-day that in spite of the many and diverse German accounts of the successful action of German aircraft against various British naval units, only three hits have in fact been made on British naval ships since the outbreak of the war. There were hits, or near hits, on the Iron Duke, the Mowhawk and the Southampton and in no case was .the damage inflicted extensive.
