RAIDING BY BANDITS
CHECK BY BRITISH TROUBLE IN CHINA (Reed. Jan. 10, 10.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 9. The Hong Kong correspondent of the Associated Press of America says that British police, in a battle lasting for an hour, shot dead three Chinese bandits who were raiding Eritishleased territory nearby the area vacated by the Japanese on December 31.
A section of 700 interned Cantonese troops armed with broken furniture rioted in the new concentration camp, but were overwhelmed by the British police.
