PROTECTIVE FENCES
BEACH BEAUTIFICATION Explaining steps taken in the beautification of the Kaiti Beach, the borough engineer, Mr. E. R. Thomas, told tlie Gisborne Borough Council last night that the removal of fennel and the cleaning of the area planted with trees and shrubs was in hand. As soon as possible scrub for windprotection fences would be placed on (he exposed sides of the planted areas.
