Low Accident Level
Not for many years in the Auckland district lias the accident level been so low as it was during the Christmas and New Year holiday period. Officers at the St. John Ambulance station said last week that the holiday generally brought a crop of major and minor accidents in all parts of the city and surrounding territory, but this year they had no long runs, serious cases were few, and lesser ones lower in aggregate than in similar periods over at least 10 years.
