Sudgen of Tren--2 tham Military Camp and her ’ three children, Patricia, aged nine, - Mary, aged four, and Michael, r aged seven. f Miss Joan Somerset-Smith of Napier, who was a guest of Captain and Mrs. Sugden. • Herbert E. W. Phillips, of 100 Rintoul street, Wellington, a wireless operator. Spencer Young, aged four of Silverstream. All but Michael Sugden received head injuries. Mr. Phillips also received concussion. All the injured, except Michael Sugden, who was suffering from shock, Were taken to the Wellington Public Hospital by the free ambulance and a military ambulance from the camp nearby. None was seriously injured. The accident occurred when' a car driven bv Miss Somerset-Smith, which was returning with Mrs. Sugden and the children after a picnic, was turning into the residence of Captain Sugden on the main road. The car was involved in the collision with i the rental car, which was travelling in the same direction.'
