LEFT-HANDER’S SUCCESS
Harry Williams upheld the honour of the left-handers by winning his fifth Victorian amateur golf championship recently. He won his first title in 1931, when a lad. and from 1934 to 1936, inclusive, held the championship. In the qualifying round he lied for eighth place with Alex. Russell, with whom, by the way, he won the foursomes championship. He always docs better in match play than in stroke play, and he takes them all on when it comes to a hand-to-hand encounter.
