In the Sheffield Shield cricket match against Queensland, South Australia, in the first innings made 230 runs. Whitinglon made 38, Moyle 32, and Walker 37. Slackpoole took six wickets for 72 runs. Queensland replied with 133 runs. Brown made 37 and D. Tallon 41. Grimmett took four wickets for 52 runs and Waite three for 25. South Australia in the second innings lost three wickets for 62 runs. Bradman, whom Stackpoole bowled for a duck in the first innings, is 29 not out in the^cond.
