Motor Camp Movements Nineteen parties of tourists pitched their tents yesterday in the motor camp at the Waikanae Beach, and there was a total of 62 camps in the ground last night. Several cars left this morning to continue their itineraries, and it was reported that parties were arriving and leaving at intervals during the day. With the sudden change in the weather many campers were feeling the cold overnight owing to the necessary limitations in their wardrobes during their tours. Many of the visiting tourists had set out on their holidays expecting seasonable weather and were totally unprepared for the present cold snap. The rain yesterday afternoon was not sufficiently intense to flood out any of the tents.
