Jack Benny, radio comedian, makes another hit in the lavish new Paramount comedy with music, “Man About Town,” which opens to-morrow a f the Majestic Theatre. With glamorous Dorothy Lamour and jolly, rotund Edward Arnold in co-starring roles, this is the most hilarious of Benny's screen, offerings. Produced by Arthur Hornblow, jun., the man who is known as the “Ziegleld of Hollywood," directed by Mark Sandrich. who did the Astaire hits, ‘‘Follow the* Fleet" and “Shall We Dance,"

“Man About Town'’ sparkles with hilarious situations, bright dialogue, platoons of perfect girls, and three songs. Among the big added attractions of the picture are the sensational dancing of “Rochester." who makes his screen debut in this picture. The “Rochester” dancing is said to be" amazing. Just as amazing is the dancing of the world-renowned Morricl Abbott. Dancers, who do incredible aerobatic routines in the harem sequences. The tun-studded story by Morric Pyskind. author of such screen hits as “My Man Godfrey” and “Stage Door,” casts Jack as an American theatrical impresario about to present a show in London. Because Jack's amorous advances mean nothing to his singing star. Dorothy Lamour. Jack contrives to meet a ladv of Ihe English nobility, hoping to make Dorothy jealous. Important supporting roles are played by Binnio Barnes, Phil Harris, as Jack’s orchestra leader; Betty Grahlo, as a chorus girl; 1 Rochester,” as Jack’s valet; 15. E.
