KING BACK IN LONDON RESUMPTION OF DUTIES (Reed. Dec. 11, 2.10 p.m.) , LONDON, Dec. 11. The King crossed the English Channel from France in. a destroyer and landed at a south coast port. There was little ceremonial. His Majesty then motored to Buckingham Palace where he immediately began to overtake the arrears of State paoers. Throughout his absence, the King wrote to the Queen daily,, dispatching letters by ithe King’s messencer
