BOWLS IN WAIROA
WAIKAREMOANA’S VISIT KEEN GAMES WITNESSED (Special to thn Herald.) WAIROA, this clay. The Waikaremoana Bowling Club visited Wairoa during the week-end and competed for the Paetai Wilson canoe, played in the morning, and the “Mik-Mak” Cup in the afternoon. The greens were again in good order and some keen games were witnessed, Wairoa succeeding in winning both trophies.
