HEAVY NAZI LOSSES
POLISH CAMPAIGN CONFIDENTIAL FIGURES (Reed. Oct. 13, 9 a.m.) ZURICH, Oct. 12. The Arbeiter Zeitung publishes confidential statistics drawn up by the German War Ministry, which reveal that the actual German losses in Poland were 91,278 killed, 63,417 seriously wounded, and 84,938 slightly wounded. The newspaper adds that 190 German tanks were destroyed and 361 damaged, while the ‘aeroplane losses were 89 fighters, 261 light bombers, 107 heavy bombers, and nine observation machines.
