HOLIDAY RATION
SUPPLY OF PETROL UP TO 30 GALLONS GENUINE TOURS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Further relaxation of the oil fuel restrictions by granting special allowances for genuine holiday tours, was announced by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan. . 1 . Special licenses will be given authorising not more than 30 gallons for cars over 14 h.p. and 20 gallons for vehicles under this rating. This is in addition to that covered ' by coupons. The period covered at ' present is October 13 to December 1. ; Applications will be considered on their merits. r An announcement will be made ■ later in regard to supplies subsequent : to that. , Mr. Sullivan hopes that the spirit of > the announcement will be strictly ob- > served and he appeals for assistance ; in preventing any abuse of this concession.
