BEAU VITE PLEASES DERBY CUP PROSPECTS (Klee. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Oct. 12, 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE. Oct. 11. Perfect Idea and Philwirth made poor showings in their respective races at Geelong to-day. Beau Vite has done well since arriving in Melbourne. His appearance greatly impressed keen judges, who regard the colt as an excellent Derby Cup prospect. Cooranga arrived to-day on his special mission lor the Melbourne Cup.
