"ew Instruments for Band Valued at £IOOO, a set of 27 new silver instruments was presented to ’he trustees of the Whanganui Garrison Band by the Mayor, Mr. Rogers, at a concert in the Opera House. The money for the instruments was raised by means of a queen carnival, and the instruments are being held by the band in trust for the city of Wanganui.
