ARMISTICE DAY
POPPY DAY OBSERVANCE NO LONDON SERVICE (Reed. Oct. 12. 2 p.m.) LONDON. Oct. 11. His Majesty has decided to cancel the Armistice service at the Cenotaph on November 11. The holding of other services throughout the country is to be discouraged. but the occasion will be observed as Poppy Day. The churches will commemorate it on November 12.
