GARDENING CIRCLE MANY BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS (Herald Correspondent.) A most successful flower display was held by the Patutahi Gardening Circle. The weather was ideal for a function of the kind, and many beautiful blooms were seen in the different classes. The sales table of plants, vegetables, fruit (and cakes did a brisk business. Mrs. J. Munson was the winner of a competition. Prior to afternoon tea, a most interesting talk was given by Mrs. E. J. Humphreys about some of the beautiful gardens visited while touring England recently. The decorative section was judged by Mrs. Humphreys, and the cut flowers by Mrs. Jenkinson, assisted by Mrs. C. Adair.
