NATIONAL NEWSPAPERS ECONOMIES IN BRITAIN (Reed. Seot. 5, 9 a.m.) LONDON. Sept. 4. The national newspapers are being reduced to 12 pages. The Ministry of Supply has established a board of wool control under Sir Harry Sliackleton, president of the Woollen and Worsted Trades Federation. The Board of Trade has prohibited imports of luxuries, including automobiles, typewriters, musical instruments and luxury foodstuffs.
