Two 15-dyear-old boys who were charged at Birmingham Juvenile Court yesterday with unlawfully settinug fire to the Birmingham Small Arms company’s offices, were stated to have “stood watching the blazing building and doing nothing to summon assistance.” The fire was said to have caused damage estimated at £75,000. The boys, whom the prosecution described as “fire raisers,” were also charged with setting fire to a warehouse at the same premises four days later.
