NAME CHANGES BARRED
EMERGENCY REGULATIONS EXCEPTIONS ANNOUNCED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Under the Change of Name Emergency Regulations, which have recently ■been passed, no person shall, without the prior consent of the Minister of Internal Affairs, change his name. Exceptions are made in the following cases: Change of name of any woman on matrimony; any new surname authorised toy Royal license; a new name given to a child on adoption; change of name on entry into a religious order; a new Christian name upon confirmation.
