Fo r the 'second time within a month wild scenes prevailed at the North Melbourne football ground recently. After the final bell had rung in the North v. Richmond Australian Rules match, spectators rushed on to the arena, assaulted the umpires and players, and fought among themselves. The brawl was stopped by police and mounted troopers. Several players and spectators were injured, but the umpires escaped under police protection.
