The. Christchurch yacht Faith, bound front Napier to Auckland, put into Gisborne harbour for the night and resumed her voyage at 10 o’clock this morning.

The skipper of the craft, Mr. W. F. Marsh, reported that the yacht had made a good trip from Napier, arriving in port at 2 p.m. yesterday after a run of 23 hours. Mr. Marsh is accompanied 1 'by Messrs. J. G. Davidson, F. Cox, and G. Nelson, Napier, and the 'skipper expects to reach Auckland in two or three days, provided weather conditions arc favourable.

The Faith reached Napier last Saturday morning, 14 days out from the Chatham Islands, the yacht having encountered heavy weather almost alt the way. The craft originally intended making Lyttelton her first port of call, but owing to the heavy seas was forced to shelter at Castlopoirit, from there making her way to Napier. Some concern had 'been felt for the safety of the yacht and the crew of two, Mr. W. F. Marsh, Christchurch, and Mr. J. L. Marsh, Central Otago. Fortunately, no shortage of provisions had occurred.
