Before leaving the Kcpuawhara Camp recently, Mr. Geo. Ward, who is now working in Rotorua, was farewelled at a small gathering of his colleagues in the Public Works Department’s office. On behalf cl those present, Mr. E. W. McEnr.is presented Mr. Ward with a travelling rug as a token of the esteem in which he was held by his fellowworkers, and wished him a prosperous future. Mr. Ward, who held a position in the stores branch of the Public Works Department for some years, suitably replied.
