CYCLIST'S FATAL FALL
CASE JAMS HANDLES SEVERE HEAD INJURIES (ror Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Thomas Farrell, aged 38, a single man, Stratford, was killed at Stratford last night when he fell from his cycle while riding downhill. He was carrying an attache case and appears to have free-wheeled down a short hill and caught his knee when he resumed pedalling. This evidently jammed the handlebars throwing him on to the road. The head injuries he received are believed to have caused almost instantaneous death.
