ESTIMATES AMENDED
WAIROA HOSPITAL BOARD COST TO COUNTY COUNCIL (Special to the Herald.) WAIROA, this -day. Advice that the board had agreed .o .amend its estimates so as to provide for maintenance expenditure on a basis of 50 occupied beds in lieu of it) under the original estimates, was eccived from the Wairoa Hospital board at yesterday's monthly meCtng of the Wairoa County Council.
The board also advised that levies or hospital requirements for the ear ending March 31, 1939, required o be provided by the council, were -s follows: —Capital, £423 13s 8d: maintenance, £6389 2s 4d; total, £6812 16s.
The council decided to forward a. etter thanking the board for meeting s representatives and for the steps iken in -the matter.
