Tennis Tour Of Australia
The New Zealand men’s tennis team to visit Australia about the third week in December will consist of four players. This was decided at a meeting last night of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association. The team has been chosen, but the names will not be released till it has been ascertained if those invited are available. Entries for the Wilding Shield (nine) and the Nunneley Casket (five) are the same as last year. Entries for the national senior championships will close on January 6, and for the junior championships on December 10. Mrs E. Anderson has announced her retirement from Nunneley Casket tennis. She was Wellington’s first player last year.— (EA.)
