MINERS TRAPPED IN GERMAN GOAL PIT

BERLIN, Sept. 28 (Rec. 12.30 p.m.) —The Associated Press says that six German miners were trapped today when a pit collapsed in the Emscher Ippe mine at Batteln, near Bochum.

The bodies of two miners were recovered by rescue squads. Another miner was hauled to the surface with serious injuries.
